I just took some time and updated some of the content here at Manifest Development. Not a lot has changed, but I rearranged the blog a bit as well as the services page, and created a new, more in-depth section for the WordPress Services I offer here at Manifest Development.
If you notice anything wrong, please contact me. Thanks!

Back in January I officially released my first WordPress plugin, Gloss. It’s a simple glossary management plugin. I worked on it for a few weeks after release and then let it go as my final semester of grad school got very busy. Today, I’m very happy to announce Gloss 0.5. In this version I made some small fixes and optimizations, as well as the ability to edit the name of an existing Glossary. But it’s with this release that I am also announcing Gloss 1.0, which will have some major updates, including:
- The ability to page glossaries by Letter
- Support for languages other than English
- The ability to link to terms
- Code refactoring and optimizations
You can look for that to be released late July/early August. If you have suggestions, or any code contributions, feel free to contact me. In the mean time, check out Gloss’s web page here, orĀ the official WordPress page.

If you’re reading this in an RSS reader, you’re going to want to click through- Manifest Development has a new face! Over the last couple of weeks I’ve been working on a new website that accomplished a few specific goals: have a cleaner design that integrates the new logo, have a theme that is more general and easier to update, and be more blog friendly. I think I’ve managed to hit all of those goals.

The University of Scranton Programming Board (USPB) needed an up-to-date, completely dynamic site to display their upcoming events and current news and information about the organization. They wanted a content and media rich website that would attract college students and get them to participate in their events. Manifest Development worked with them every step of the way, learning how the organization worked to give them a website that catered to those needs.
