Gloss 0.5

July 13, 2009 | filed under: Announcements, News, plugins

Back in January I officially released my first WordPress plugin, Gloss. It’s a simple glossary management plugin. I worked on it for a few weeks after release and then let it go as my final semester of grad school got very busy. Today, I’m very happy to announce Gloss 0.5. In this version I made some small fixes and optimizations, as well as the ability to edit the name of an existing Glossary. But it’s with this release that I am also announcing Gloss 1.0, which will have some major updates, including:

  • The ability to page glossaries by Letter
  • Support for languages other than English
  • The ability to link to terms
  • Code refactoring and optimizations

You can look for that to be released late July/early August. If you have suggestions, or any code contributions, feel free to contact me. In the mean time, check out Gloss’s web page here, orĀ  the official WordPress page.

New Design Launched

New DesignIf you’re reading this in an RSS reader, you’re going to want to click through- Manifest Development has a new face! Over the last couple of weeks I’ve been working on a new website that accomplished a few specific goals: have a cleaner design that integrates the new logo, have a theme that is more general and easier to update, and be more blog friendly. I think I’ve managed to hit all of those goals.
