Last week I launched a redesign of this site. I started developing it in late November, and wanted to revamp the site completely from design to content. I got some feedback from my students during one class when we were talking about the importance of a small business’ website, and I wanted to integrate that, as well as some of the new things I learned over the last two years. A few weeks ago, WordPress 3.0 came out, introducing some nice new features for both developers and users of the platform. At Manifest Development, WordPress is my primary platform to work on and I offer several services specializing in the development and maintenance of WordPress driven sites. Last week, Manifest Development launched a new website- The Caitlin M. Hammaren Foundation. The foundation had a pre-existing website that they wanted to convert to a content management system (CMS) to make it easier for them to update themselves. Manifest Development converted the site to WordPress and organized the site to make it easier for visitors to find information.
