WordPress 3.0 is Out!

A few weeks ago, WordPress 3.0 came out, introducing some nice new features for both developers and users of the platform. At Manifest Development, WordPress is my primary platform to work on and I offer several services specializing in the development and maintenance of WordPress driven sites. One of these services is a WordPress  Tune Up, aimed at keeping your WordPress site secured, updated, and backed-up.

To celebrate WordPress 3.0, on top of all the great services a WordPress Tune Up offers, Manifest Development is adding the activation and set-up of custom navigation menus. Before 3.0, in order to change the main navigation on your website you needed extra functionality or you would need to hire a developer to do it. Now as long as your website supports it, you can change your own navigations menus on the fly right from the WordPress admin panel. Manifest Development will make sure you theme supports these custom menus as part of the WordPress Tune Up from 2.9 to 3.0.

The Difference Between Good, Fast, and Cheap

Cross posted on Casabona.Org/Blog

These are the three sides of the project triangle- Good, Fast, and Cheap- and these three sides are things that every client wants. But, there are trade-offs to each one, and many people outside the development world don’t see that. The catch is you can only pick two.

New Special: Profile Sites

A lot of requests have been coming in for smaller sites quickly profiling a person or business, posting up some information and a contact form (see recently launched site for George Papageorge, DDS). They are created to provide more information than a flyer or brochure, and are much more accessible. Manifest Development is running a special on them from now until January 30th. Now you can get a Profile Site for just $535.00.
